Do I need to change my spreadsheet?

Not necessarily. Houston starts with the file your team already uses. Some configuration may be needed so that records and important fields can be identified reliably.

Which spreadsheet formats are supported?

The first version-tracking setup is agreed with Praxis Lab after reviewing representative files. Standard Excel and CSV files are the intended starting point; confirm your particular format during setup.

Does Houston alter the original file?

No. Houston keeps the source evidence visible and does not silently edit either original file.

What happens when column names change?

Houston can be configured around expected fields. A changed or missing column is made visible for review rather than quietly ignored.

What happens when Houston cannot identify the same row?

It shows that the match is uncertain. A person can then inspect the evidence and decide whether the records belong together.

What does the £100 subscription cover?

The starting subscription tracks successive versions of one agreed recurring source, configured around its current structure. During setup, Praxis agrees the relevant worksheets, expected version frequency and intended users with you. A materially different layout or another recurring source is assessed separately before any change to scope or price.

Can Houston reconcile two different sources?

Potentially. Reconciliation is distinct from tracking successive versions of one source and needs its own agreed configuration. Praxis will confirm whether the proposed sources can be matched meaningfully.
